Acts of Kindness...

I believe that everyone in the world is first and foremost, kind. At our very base level, we all want to help and support one another and show up. Things happen in our lives that effect us and have us react out of fear, but where possible, I believe we are all doing our best and are good people. Keeping this in mind as you move through the world can make life easier for you as you break down barriers and allow spontaneous moments of magic especially when interacting with strangers.

We have a wonderful Fridge-to-go customer, J, who believes wholeheartedly in spreading kindness. She loves our bags and wants all her people to be able to appreciate them too. Her newest thing is to organise personalised lunch bags for special people in her life. First her daughter got a simple black bag with her name in a curly white font. She received this as a gesture for doing well in school and it happened to arrive on the exact day she received an award (we can't guarantee this will happen but the Universe helps where she can!). Next J got a pink bag with a curly white name for her daughter's best friend as a birthday gift. Now the besties have matching bags. J's latest gift is a personalised lunch bag for her daughter's karate teacher, her Sensei (also her best friend's dad!) as a thank you for teaching her daughter. I love this and appreciate J for sharing with us how she's using our bags to spread kindness and connection. It melts my heart and I bet it makes her feel pretty good too.

Paying it forward with kindness doesn't just have to be with items. My newest thing in lock-down is to reach out to my people here and overseas, especially on a birthday, with a list I write of 10 things I'm grateful for that relate to that person. I txt them the list and know this makes them feel wonderful (and me!). Who doesn't love to make others feel wonderful? Try this... every week write a list for someone who means a lot to you and send it to them. Let's start a gratitude movement and I promise your world will only be better for it... it all starts with kindness. x
